  • What is the bed set up?

    Each property has some beds which can be set as a twin on request. Check out the individual property details and it will list the bed set up available. We ask that you contact the office 2 weeks before arrival to inform us of any bed changes from the standard set.

  • Do you accept pets?

    No I’m afraid we do not accept pets due to the open nature of the site and the wildlife that live here. We also like to keep the views and grounds as open as possible for everyone to enjoy.

  • What supplies are included in the property?

    All of our properties are self catering but we do include: hand soaps in all bathrooms, a new toilet roll in each bathroom to get you started, a cleaning pack (sponge, cloth, bin bag, some dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid). If you are in for the week you might need to put some of these items on your shopping list and take any left overs home with you.

  • Do you accept party groups?

    We are all about families and friends having fun and making memories but we do have a NO HEN and STAG group policy. We do accept groups of family and friends coming on holidays and to celebrate special occasions, however all guests have to respect their neighbours and our noise policy.

  • How often are the hot tubs cleaned?

    Our Hot Tubs are fresh for each new guest booking. We completely drain off and clean the hot tub before refilling it. The chemicals are balanced and checked each day by a member of staff.

  • Do you have staff on site?

    Yes we have staff on site everyday to attend to queries, advice or just have a friendly chat. We like guests to get in touch with us, to enable us to solve problems and not take them home with them. We also have an on call phone number for guests to call when we are not on site, guests happiness is important to us.

  • Are towels and bed linen provided?

    All bedding in provided and made up for your arrival. We provide hand towels in all bathrooms and toilets and bath sheets for every guest. Additional towels for use outside with the hot tubs can be ordered on request at a small surcharge.

    Please note due to health and safety reasons we do not provide linen for travel cots.

  • What is your noise policy?

    Our site is unique for the area, peaceful and idyllic with lots of open space and wonderful views. Although we have great properties for larger group holidays and family gatherings, we like everyone to have fun, so noise disturbance is taken seriously. Our policy asks guests to respect their neighbours, come out of the hot tubs by 10.30pm and turn music down by 11pm. Should you have disrespectful neighbours we are happy to assist on our out of hours service.

  • Can I get shopping delivered?

    Yes you can book a food delivery for your arrival time or during your stay. The supermarkets that deliver to site are: Sainsburys, Tesco and Asda.

  • Do you have a cot and high chair?

    Yes each of our properties have both a high chair and travel cot in a cupboard in the property. Sometimes more than one might be available so check with the office.

  • Can some friends stay in their campervan next to the property?

    No we are sorry this is not possible, ths is due to the planning permission of the site. We would be happy to recommend some very local sites though.

  • Do you do weddings?

    We are not licenced for people to get married on site ut we have had a couple of small weddings celebrations in The Oaks Country House, so please do ask us.
